Mrs. Ruthe B. Cowl had a wonderful vision - to establish a space that offered a comprehensive program for individuals battling polio, to help them recover physically and emotionally. However, her compassion and vision went beyond just that. Today, her legacy has touched the lives of people with various physical conditions such as birth defects, strokes, brain injuries, amputations, emotional issues, and more - all of whom have found solace and a better quality of life through her efforts.
At the Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center, our mission is to restore independence, enhance productivity, and improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities. As a nonprofit outpatient facility, we are dedicated to providing compassionate physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to all in need—where no one is turned away.
